The goal of this blog is to provide information, photographs, and analysis of the action figure toy-line called Galaxy Warriors, produced by Sungold in 1983. Though it is considered an immitation or "knock-off" line of Masters of the Universe, the quality and details of these figures allows them to stand on their own as cool and interesting action figures. I will try to continuously update pages with relevant images and information.

I can help you out a bit on these. The solid pose guys are ANOTHER line called Muscle Warriors.

The Spikes bootleg is from a line called Galactic Gladiator. They are blow molded and got different names for them on the back of the card. Spikes became Matubi. I think my favorite though is Thor became Odin.
Thanks Phelous! I didn't know much about these knock-offs. This information helps a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, I recognize the Tiger one! I didn't have it growing up (as I was born in '96), but the internet comedian Stuart Ashen did a video of MOTU knock-offs, and he showed that one! He even mentioned Galaxy Warriors (which, funnily enough, is how I found out about this blog). Here's the video, if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEr93uEq65s
