Spikes has a great design that is simple yet awesome. Without the black body this figure would lose some of its power. The black allows us to imagine that hidden under this helmet is the face of a brutal and fearsome warrior. If the areas of the head that are not covered by the helmet were any other color, then the head sculpt would lose this effect. The Spikes figure pictured is not wearing a harness simply because he looks cooler without one.
